The shrine where the sacred tooth relic sits, is also called Gandha-Kuti or Room of perfume. The sacred relic rests in the 7th of seven golden caskets. Red curtained and simple, the Gandha-kuti is armored with a bullet proof glass. On either side of the casket carrying the sacred tooth relic stand the Perehera casket and the Burmese casket. In the front is a silver table where jasmine flowers offered to cred Tooth relic of Lord Buddha in silver trays.
