Please carry vaccination proof against Covid 19, a vaccination card, letter, or digital proof when entering the temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. This proof will be checked at the entrance. We expect you to respect and adhere to the health guidelines for the safety of you and others.

Please be informed that due to the current pandemic in the country and as per the guidelines provided by the health authorities visitors from Corona affected areas and risk ateas will not be allowed entry. Visitors will be allowed entry only after checking the National Identity Card & the temperature. Those who are allowed entry will have to follow all necessary preventive measures implemented , wash hands, wear a face mask at all times and maintain one meter distance. Also please leave the premises without unnecessary loitering once the worshiping is over. Blessings of the Sacred Tooth Relic !

The temple is open for devoteesevery day from 5.30 a.m. till 8.00 p.m. (+0530 GMT)

  • Morning Service:5.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.
  • Midday Service: 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
  • Evening  Service: 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m

Nanumura Mangallaya is held every Wednesday at 9.30 am.
(A special herbal preparation is made for Nanumura Mangallaya which has a lot of healing power)

Every day at 10.00 a.m.& 7.00 p.m. children could be offered. The child should have completed 3 months but not more than 3 months. The child can be accompanied by one elder to the “Wedasitina Maligaya” or the Inner Chamber.

Every Wednesday he could be met at his office at Sri DaladaMaligawa. A prior appointment to be booked through the administration division of Sri DaladaMaligawa. (Contact number of administration division +94 812204867)

There is a special service available for those with special needs. If your family member or friend need special assistance, please call the administration office (0812234226)  to avail the transportation service from the main entrance and to use the lift.
