ඓතිහාසික කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය සාම්ප්රදායික ලෙස ආලෝකවත් කිරීම උදෙසා අවශ්ය කොප්පරා පරිත්යාග කිරීම ශ්රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාධිපති ලුතිනන් ජෙනරාල් නිලන්ත ප්රේමරත්න මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන්, විජයබා පාබල රෙජිමේන්තුව මගින් 2026 අගෝස්තු 08 වන දින ශ්රී දළදා මාලිගාව වෙත සිදු කරන ලදී. 2014 වසරේ සිට අඛණ්ඩව ඉටුකරනු ලබන මෙම පුණ්යකර්මයට දායක වූ විජයබා පාබල රෙජිමේන්තුවේ සියලුම නිලධාරීන්ට සහ රණවිරුවන්ට උතුම් දළදා සමිඳු පිහිට සහ සතර මහා දෙවිඳුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව ලැබේවා!

The donation of dry coconut (Koppara) required to traditionally illuminate the historic Kandy Esala Perahera festival was presented to the Sri Dalada Maligawa on 08th August 2026 by the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army, under the patronage of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne.
We invoke the blessings of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the protection of the Four Guardian Deities upon all officers and brave soldiers of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment who have been continuously performing this noble service since 2014!
