With the dawn of Sinhala new year the ritual of “Kiri Ithireema”, boiling of milk was done at Sri Dalada Maligawa at the auspicious time in the today (Apr14) morning. This was done by the Hon. Diyawadana Nilame, “Kariya Karawana Korala” & other officials amidst the chanting of “Pirith” by Maha Sangha.
