උදාවන අලුත් අවුරුද්දේ හිසතෙල් ගෑමේ පුණ්ය මංගල්ලය සඳහා නානු බෙදා දීමේ පුරාණ චාරිත්රය අද(12) දින ශ්රී මහා නාථ දේවාලය කේන්ද්ර කර ගනිමින් පැවැත් විය. ශ්රී දළදා මාලිගාව, සිව් මහා දේවාල හා පිටිසරබද දේවාල වලට මෙලෙස අවශ්ය නානු යුෂ බෙදා දීම සිදු විය. මෙවර සිංහල අලුත් අවුරුද්දේ හිසතෙල් ගැල්වීමේ පුණ්ය චාරිත්රය අප්රේල් 17 වන දා පූර්ව භාග 7.16ට යෙදී තිබේ.
The ritual of distribution of “Naanu” ( a special concoction made using juices of medicinal leaves and oils) for the applying of oil at the auspicious time given, a part of Sinhala Avurudu Rituals took place today (12) at Sri Maha Natha devalaya. The “naanu” was distributed to Sri Dalada Maligawa, the four devala and the rural devala.
The auspicious time of applying oil falls on 17th April at 07.16 am.
