The newly built Stupa of Sri Rathanamangalaramaya in 92 place, Kantale was offered to the Buddha Sasana yesterday (Jan. 27) by exposing it’s conical spire. This was built under “Ape Sathkaraya” the social responsibility program of Sri Dalada Maligawa under it’s responsibility in reconstructing the rural temples in Eastern Province. The donors council of the temple and other donors too contributed towards this meritorious act. Most Ven. Wedaruwe Upali Thero, Anunayake thero of Asgiriya chapter, Most Ven. Ganthune Assaji Thero of Amarapura Monastic Order, Most Ven. Ahungalle Siri Sila Wisuddhi Thero of Amarapura Sri Saddhammavansa nikaya and Diyawadana Nilame Hon. Pradeep Nilanga Dala and a large crowd of lay & clergy was present at the occasion.
