නව ගුවන් හමුදාපති එයාර් මාර්ෂල් බන්දු එදිරිසිංහ මහතා ආගමික වතාවත් වෙනුවෙන් 2024 පෙබරවාරි 08 දින පෙරවරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවට පැමිණියා. ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගුවන් හමුදාවේ 20 වන ගුවන් හමුදාපති ලෙස සිය ධූරයේ රාජකාරී ඇරඹූ එදිරිසිංහ මහතා ආශිර්වාද ලබා ගැනීමට ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවට පැමිණි අවස්ථාව සනිටුහන් කරමින් ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමා විසින් සමරු තිලිනයක් ලබා දීම ද කටයුතු කරන ලදී.

The new Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, visited the Sri Dalada Maligawa on 8th February 2024 morning to participate in religious observances. Air Marshal Edirisinghe, who recently assumed duties as the 20th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, was presented with a commemorative memento by Hon. Diyawadana Nilame to mark the occasion.
