මේ වසරේ කාර්තික මංගල්ලය සඳහා පහන් දැල්වීමට අවශ්‍ය තෙල් බෙදා දීම 2025 නොවැම්බර් 27 දින මහනුවර ශ්‍රී මහා නාථ දේවාලයේ දී පුරාතන චාරිත්‍රානුකූලව සිදු විය. එහි දී කාරියකරවන කෝරාළ ඇතුළු නිල කරුවන් විසින් කාර්තික වට්ටෝරුව අනුව සතර දේවාලය ඇතුළු අනෙකුත් සිද්ධස්ථාන හා පිටිසර දේවාලවල සඳහා තෙල් බෙදාදීම සිදු කරන ලදී. සතර මහා මංගල්‍යයන් අතුරෙන් වසරේ අවසානයට පවත්වන කාර්තික මංගල්‍යය එළඹෙන ඉල්පුර පසළොස්වක පොහෝ දිනට යෙදී තිබේ. එහිදී කාර්ථික පෙරහර සහ ඉන් අනතුරුව ප්‍රදීප පූජාව සිදු කිරීමට නියමිතයි.
The distribution of oil for lighting lamps for this year’s Karthika festival was held on 03rd November 2025 at the Sri Maha Natha Devalaya, Kandy, in accordance with ancient traditions. During the ceremony, officials including the Kariyakarawana Korala distributed oil to the four Devalas, as well as to other shrines and rural Devalas, following the customary Karthika ritual formula.
The Karthika Festival, last festival of the four great annual festivals, will be held on the upcoming Il Poya Day (Ilpura Pasaloswaka Poya). On this sacred day, the Karthika Perahera and the traditional offering of oil lamps.
