නව වසරේ උතුම් දළදා හාමුදුරුවන් වහන්සේ උදෙසා ඉටුකළ සතර මහා මංගල්ලයන්ගෙන් ප්‍රථම මංගල්ලය වූ “අළුත් සහල් මංගල්ලයේ” අළුත් සහලින් පිසූ කිරි බත සහිත කිරිබඩ පාත්‍රය දළදා සමිඳු අභියස පූජා කිරීම අද (ජන.17) යෙදී ඇති දුරුතු පුර පසළොස්වක පොහෝ දා චිරාගත සම්ප්‍රදායානුකූලව සිදු කරනු ලැබුවා.

Aluth Sahal Mangallaya the offering of a milk rice made out of the first harvest took place today (Jan.17) on this Duruthu full moon Poya day. This is the first festival out of the four festivals performed to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic.
