එවකට සියම් මහා නිකායේ අස්ගිරි මහා විහාර පාර්ශවයේ අනුනායක දූරය දැරූ අපවත් වී වදාළ වාරියපොළ ශ්‍රී සුමංගල නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේගේ 210 වන ගුණ සැමරුම 2025 මාර්තු 02 වන දින පෙරවරුවේ ඓතිහාසික මහමළුවේ පිහිටි උන් වහන්සේගේ පිළිරුව අභියසදී පැවැත් වුනා.
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා මල්වතු හා අස්ගිරි මහා විහාරීය අතිගරු අනුනායක නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේලා ඇතුළු ගරුතර මහා සංඝරත්නයත්, ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේතුමා සහ මහනුවර පාසල්වල සිසු සිසුවියන් රැසක් සහභාගි වූහ.

The 210th commemoration celebration of Most Ven. Wariyapola Sri Sumangala Thero, who was the Anunayaka Thero of the Asgiriya Chapter at the time, was held on 2nd March 2025 in front of his statue in the historic Mahamaluwa.
Anunayaka Theros of the Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters, the Venerable Maha Sangha, the Hon. Diyawadana Nilame of Sri Dalada Maligawa, and many students from schools in Kandy participated in this event.
