යල කන්නයේ නෙලාගත් අස්වැන්නේ අග්‍රස්ත්‍රය දළදා හාමුදුරුවන් වහන්සේ වෙත පූජා කිරීමේ අරමුණින් සිදුකරන “සිරි දළදා යල් අස්වනු පූජාව” දළදා සමිඳුන් උදෙසා තේවාවව භාරව කටයුතු කරන අස්ගිරි මහා විහාර පාර්ශවයේ ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ කාරක සංඝ සභික ගරුතර උරුලෑවත්තේ ධම්මසිද්ධි ශ්‍රී අත්ථදස්සි ධම්මරක්ඛිත නාහිමිපාණන්වහන්සේගේ අනුශාසනා පරිදි 2024 ඔක්තෝම්බර් 15 දින පෙරවරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගා පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විය. ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධ ගොවි සංවිධානය, වාරිමාර්ග සහ ජල සම්පත් කළමනාකරණ අමාත්‍යංශය ඇතුළු අංශ කිහිපයක් එක්ව සංවිධානය කළ මෙම යල් අස්වනු පූජාව පැවැත්වූයේ 9 වෙනි වරටයි.

The first harvest of the “Yala Season” was offered to the Sacred Tooth Relic. The meritorious act of offering the first harvest of the “Yala Season” called the “Siri Dalada Yal Aswanu Pooja” took place on 15th October 2024 at the temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. This event, which takes place annually was organized for the 9th consecutive time jointly by the National Irrigation Management Division and The Ministry of Irrigation.
