The cultural performance “INGI – emotive steps,” presented by the students of the Aesthetic Studies Faculty of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy, affiliated with Sri Dalada Maligawa, was held grandly on May 19th and 20th in the main auditorium of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy. Nearly a hundred students showcased their talents in front of an audience of about a thousand invited guests for the concert, which brought together the dances and instruments of the Upcountry, Lowcountry, Sabaragamuwa, and Bharata traditions. The Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA), opened in 2016 with the full concept of Pradeep Nilanga Dela Hon. Diyavadana Nilame, aims to pass on the Sri Lankan dance tradition to future generations. Currently, the Faculty of Aesthetic Studies has nearly two hundred students studying education.

ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවට අනුබද්ධිත, ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවි මණ්ඩපයේ උඩර‍ට නර්තන පීඨය හෙවත් සෞන්දර්‍ය අධ්‍යන පීඨයේ සිසු සිසුවියන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ “ඉඟි – භාවපද” සංස්කෘතික ප්‍රසංගය පසුගිය 19 සහ 20 යන දෙදින ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවි මණ්ඩපයේ ප්‍රධාන ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේ දී උත්කර්ශවත් අයුරින් පැවැත්විණි. උඩරට, පහතරට, සබරගමු හා උත්තර භාරතීය සම්ප්‍රදායේ නර්නත හා වාදනයන් එකට එක් කරමින් පැවැත් වූ ප්‍රසංගය සඳහා සිසු සිසුවියන් සියයකට ආසන්න සංඛ්‍යාවක් ආරාධිත අමුත්තන් දහසකට ආසන්න සංඛ්‍ය‍ාවකින් යුත් ප්‍රේක්ෂකාගාරයක් ඉදිරියේ සිය දක්ෂතා ගෙනහැර දක්වන ලදී. දේශීය නර්තන සම්ප්‍රදාය මතුපරපුර වෙත සුරක්ෂිතව දායාද කිරීමේ පරම අභිලාශය ඇතුව ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමාගේ පූර්ණ සංකල්පයකට අනුව, 2016 වසරේ ආරම්භ කළ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවි මණ්ඩපයේ (SIBA) උඩර‍ට නර්තන පීඨය හෙවත් සෞන්දර්‍ය අධ්‍යන පීඨය තුල මේවන විට සිසු සිසුවියන් දෙසීයකට ආසන්න සංඛ්‍යාවක් අධ්‍යාපනය හදාරති.
