පරිසර දිනයේ සොබාදහමට තවත් අපුරු තිලිනයක්.
අදට ( 2024 ජූනි 05 ) යෙදී ඇති ලෝක පරිසර දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් ශ්රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ ඓතිහාසික මහමළුව භූමියට තවත් වටිනා ශාකයක් එකතු වුනා. ඖෂධීය වටිනාකමක් සහිත, ශ්රී ලංකාවේ දුර්ලභ ශාකයක් ලෙස හැඳින්වෙන “මල් මුරුත” (Lagerstroemia speciosa) ශාකයක් ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමා විසින් රෝපනය කරන ලදී.
Another wonderful gift to nature on Environment Day.
On the occasion of World Environment Day today ( 05th June 2024 ), another valuable plant was added to the historic Mahamaluwa of the Sri Dalada Maligawa. “Lagerstroemia speciosa,” a rare plant of Sri Lanka with medicinal value, was planted by the Honorable Diyawadana Nilame.
