BowalawattaVajirarama Forest Monastery, located in a thick jungle nestled in the Hanthana mountain range was established in year 1986. This place is a very tranquil rain forest covered in thick vegetation. There are about 10 monastics who live here practicing giving, virtue & meditation. The place is serene and tranquil opening the path to freedom.
මහනුවර හන්තාන කදු ශිකරය අතර පිහිටි ඉතාමත් සුන්දර වන ලැහැබක් තුල ඇති බෝවලවත්ත වජිරාරාම ආරණ්ය සේනාසනය 1986 වර්ෂයේදී ආරම්භ වුවකි. නිරන්තරයෙන් වැසි වසිනා මෙම ඝන වන ලැහැබ නිස්කලංක බැවින් මෙන්ම පාරිසරික බවින්ද අනුනය. මෙහි භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේලා දස නමක් පමණ වැඩ සිටින අතර දාන, ශිල, භාවනා මෙහෙදී සිදු කෙරෙයි. ඉතාමත් නිහඩ මෙම පුද බිම නෙත් සිත් පහන් කොට නිවනට මග පාදන තෝතැන්නකි.
