මහනුවර ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවට අනුබද්ධිත උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනය වන පල්ලෙකැලේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවියේ (SIBA Campus) 9වෙනි උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය අද (ඔක්. 18) දින එහි ප්‍රධාන සම්මන්ත්‍රන ශාලාවේ දී පැවැත්වුනා. එහිදී උපාදි හා පශ්චාත් උපාධි හැදෑරූ ශිෂ්‍ය ශිෂ්‍යාවන් 307 දෙනෙකු වෙත මෙවර උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සවයේදී උපාධි හිමිවිය. මෙම අවස්ථාවට සියලුම පීඨවල පීඨාධිපතිවරුන් මහාචාර්ය ආචාර්යවරුන් ඇතුළු සම්භාවනීය ආරාධිතයෝ රැසක් සහභාගි වී සිටියහ.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවිය 2009 වසරේ මල්වතු හා අස්ගිරි උභය පාර්ශ්වයේ අතිගෞරවාර්හ මහානාහිමිවරුන්ගේ ආශිර්වාදය ඇතිව ආරම්භ කරන ලද උසස් අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයකි. ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල මහතා එය පිහිටුවීමේ පුරෝගාමී කාර්ය්‍ය ඉටුකළ අතර, වර්තමානය වන විට මෙරට රාජ්‍ය නොවන විශ්ව විද්‍යාල අතුරෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවිය (SIBA Campus) දෙස් විදෙස් ශිෂ්‍ය ශිෂ්‍යාවන් රැසකටම අධ්‍යාපනික අවස්ථා විවරකර තිබේ. උපාධි ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාත්‍යන්තර බෞද්ධ සරසවියේ සෞන්දර්ය්‍ය අධ්‍යන පීඨයේ සිසු සිසුවියන්ගේ සංස්කෘතිකාංග රැසකින් විචිත්‍රවත් විය.
The ninth graduation ceremony of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA Campus) Pallekele, the higher education institution affiliated to the Sri Dalada Maligawa Kandy, was held today (Oct. 18) at its main conference hall. 307 undergraduate and postgraduate students received their degrees at this year’s graduation ceremony. Many dignitaries including deans of all faculties and professors participated in this event.
Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy is an institution of higher education established in 2009 with the blessings of the Most Venerable Maha Nayaka Theros of Malwatu and Asgiriya Chapters. Hon. Pradeep Nilanga Dela, the Honorable Diyavadana Nilame of Sri Dalada Maligawa, performed the pioneering work of establishing this institution, and currently, the Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA Campus) has opened educational opportunities to many students from home and abroad among the non-government universities in the country.
The graduation ceremony was made colourful with many cultural performances by the students of the Faculty of Aesthetic Studies of the International Buddhist Academy of Sri Lanka.
