ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගයේ වාර්ෂික කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවය අද (01) චාම් – අභිමානවත් අයුරින් පවත්වන ලදී. මල්වතු-අස්ගිරි උභය මහා විහාරීය අතිපූජ්‍ය මහානායක මාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේලාගේ ආශිර්වාද‍යෙන් මහනුවර, කටුකැලේ ලේඩිබ්ලේක් ආරාමාධිපතිනී කොත්මලේ සුධර්මා සිල් මෑණියගේ සංවිධායකත්වයෙන් පැවති කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවය සඳහා ප්‍රධාන අනුග්‍රහය දැක්වූයේ කොළඹ 10 පදිංචි ගාමිණී කරුණාධාර මැතිතුමා හා එම මැතිණිය ඇතුළු පවුලේ පිරිස විසිනි. පෙර වර්ෂයන්වල දී අතිවිශාල පිරිසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වෙන ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගයේ කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවයට මෙවර රටේ පවතින තත්වය සැළකිල්ලට ගනිමින් ඉතා සීමිත පිරිසක් පමණක් සහභාගි කර සිදු කෙරිණී.
The “Katina Cheewara Pooja” or the offering of a robe to the monks at The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic took place in a very simple ceremony held at the temple today the 01st November. This was organized by the Kotmale Sudarma Theri of Katukele Ladyblake Arama according to the guidance given by the Mahanayake theros of Malwatta and Asgiriya chapters. Mr Gamini Karunadhara and family of Colombo 10 were the main donors. Unlike other years this year the ceremony was held with a limited number of devotees, considering the country situation.
