Sri Dalada Maligawa, a unique landmark among the world tourist destinations, organized a celebration event today (27) for World Tourism Day. The Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, is a leading tourist destination where a large number of foreign tourists visit daily, which receives special attention and respect. The celebration which was held in two stages, consisted of various programs and activities to educate the tourist community about Sri Dalada Maligawa and Kandy City, including special guides, cultural elements, Kandyan culture and Sri Lanka.
Many foreigners representing different countries of the world joined the special celebrations organized by the Sri Dalada Maligawa, On the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2023 through the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. Guest lectures at the event were given by the Sri Lankan ambassador of the World Earth Day Network, actress Ms. Michelle Dilhara and the founder of Shanta Suvaya Meditation Center, Mr. Michael Fronczak.
ලෝක සංචාරක ගමනාන්ත අතුරෙන් සුවිශේෂී මංසළකුණක් වන ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව අද (27) දිනට යෙදී ඇති ලෝක සංචාරක දිනය වෙනුවෙන් සැමරුම් උත්සවයක් සංවිධානය කරනු ලැබුවා. විදෙස් සංචාරකයින්ගේ විශේෂ අවධානයකට හා ගෞරවයකට ලක්වන මහනුවර ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවට දෛනිකව විශාල විදෙස් සංචාරකයින් පිරිසක් පැමිණෙන ප්‍රමුඛ සංචාරක ගමනාන්තයකී. අදියර දෙකක් යටතේ පැවැත් වූ සැමරුම් උත්සවය සඳහා ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව පිළිබඳ හා මහනුවර පිළිබඳ වන පූර්ණ තොරතුරු ඇතුලත් විශේෂ මාර්ගෝපදේශණ, සංස්කෘතිකාංග, උඩරට සංස්කෘතිය හා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව පිළිබඳ සංචාරක ප්‍රජාව දැනුවත් වන ආකාරයේ වැඩසටහන් හා විවිධ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් රැසකින් එය සමන්විත විය.
2023 ලෝක සංචාරක දිනය නිමිත්තෙන් මහනුවර ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව විසින් සංවිධානය කළ මෙම විශේෂ සැමරුම් උත්සව සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා සංචාරක ප්‍රවර්ධන කාර්යාංශය හරහා ලොව විවිධ රටවල් නියෝජනය කරමින් විදේශිකයින් රැසක් එක් විය. උත්සවයේ ආරාධිත දේශණ ලෝක මිහිකත දින ජාලයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා තානාපති, රංගන ශිල්පිනී මිෂෙල් දිල්හාරා මහත්මිය හා ශාන්ත සුවය භාවනා මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ නිර්මාතෘ මයිකල් ෆ්රොන්සාක් මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලදී.
