මල්වතු මහා විහාරයේ මහානායක අතිගෞරවාර්හ තිබ්බටුවාවේ ශ්රී සිද්ධාර්ථ සුමංගල මහානායක මාහිපාණන් වහන්සේගේ අනුශාසනා පරිදි මෙම මූල්ය පරිත්යාගය ශ්රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ තේවාව භාර ගෞරව තිබ්බටුවාවේ සිද්ධාර්ථ මේධංකර නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේ විසින් 2025 දෙසැම්බර් 04 දින පස්වරුවේ ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමා වෙත භාරදෙන ලදී. ඒ අනුව මල්වතු හා අස්ගිරි උභය මහා විහාර වෙතින් අරමුදල වෙත පරිත්යාග කර ඇති මුළු මුදල රු මිලියන 10 කි. Malwatta Maha Viharaya has contributed Rs. 5 million to the relief fund established by the Sri Dalada Maligawa to support people displaced by natural disasters.
The donation was handed over to the Diyawadana Nilame by the Venerable Thibbatuwawe Siddhartha Medhankara Thero, the Incumbent of the Thevawa, on 04th December 2025 afternoon, on the instructions of the Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Maha Nayaka Thero, Maha Nayaka of the Malwatta Chapter. Accordingly, the total amount donated to the fund by the Malwatta Maha Viharaya and the Asgiriya Maha Viharaya is Rs. 10 million (one hundred lakhs).
