ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගයේ වාර්ෂික කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවය ඊයේ (නොවැ. 04) දින සහ අද (නොවැ. 05) යන දෙදින පවත්වා අවසන් විය. මල්වතු හා අස්ගිරි උභය මහා විහාරීය අතිපූජ්‍ය මහානායක මාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේලාගේ ආශිර්වාද‍යෙන් සහ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ වත්මන් තේවාව භාර, සියම් මහා නිකායේ මල්වතු මහා විහාර පාර්ශවයේ කාරක සංඝ සභික, ගරුතර තිබ්බටුවාවේ ශ්‍රී මේධංකර නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේගේ උපෙද්ශකත්වයෙන් යුතුව මහනුවර, කටුකැලේ ලේඩිබ්ලේක් ආරාමාධිපතිනී කොත්මලේ සුධර්මා සිල් මෑණියගේ සංවිධායකත්වයෙන් පැවති මේ වසරේ කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවය සඳහා ප්‍රධාන අනුග්‍රහය දැක්වූයේ ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමා විසිනි. මුළුතැන් බුද්ධ පූජාව සහ කප්රුක් පූජා සහිත කඨින චීවර පූජාව, සියක් නමකට ආසන්න මහා සංඝරත්නය උදසා සිදුකළ සපිරිකර සංඝගත දක්ෂිනාවකින් සමන්විත විය.
The annual Katina Cheewara Pooja Festival of Sri Dalada Maligawa was held yesterday (Nov. 04) and today (Nov. 05), with the blessings of the Chief incumbents of the Malwatu and Asgiriya chapters. The organizing was done by Kotmale Sudharma Theri of Lady Bleck Aramaya in Kandy-Katukele under the guidance of Ven. Tibbatuwawe Sri Mehdankara Thero of the Malwatta chapter, who is in charge of Dalada Thewa currently. The main sponsor of this year’s Katina ceremony was Hon. Pradeep Nilanga Dela, chief custodian of Sri Dalada Maligawa. The Buddha pooja, Katina Cheewara Pooja (offering of a robe) with the “Kapruka Puja” and alms to nearly than hundred Maha Sangha was part of today’s event.
