The Dhamma sermon organized as part of the Katina Cheewara Pooja festival of Sri Dalada Maligawa was held today (Oct. 14) in the afternoon at the new shrine room of Sri Dalada Maligawa. Sermon was conducted by most ven. Wedaruwe Sri Upali Anunayake thero, the Anunayake of the Asgiri chapter of the Siam monastic order also the chief incumbent of Polonnaruwa Solosmasthana and the Rajamaha vihara of Asgiri Gedige in Kandy. This year’s Katina Cheewara Pooja festival at Sri Dalada Maligawa will be held on 14th and 15th October, and the main contribution will be made by the chairman of LOLC Group of company Mr. Ishara Nanayakkara and his family members. The procession of Katina Cheewara from Ladybleck Monastery in Kandy to Sri Dalada Maligawa is scheduled to take place early tomorrow morning. (Oct. 15).

ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ 2022 කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවයේ ධර්ම දේශණාව අද (ඔක්. 14) දින පස්වරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ නව බුදු මැඳුරේ දී පවත්වන්නට යෙදුනා. ඒ සියම් මහා නිකායේ අස්ගිරි පාර්ශවයේ අනුනායක, පොළොන්නරුව සොළොස්මස්ථානාධිපති, මහනුවර අස්ගිරි ගෙඩිගේ රජමහා විහාරාධිපති අතිපූජ්‍ය වෙඬරුවේ ශ්‍රී උපාලි අනුනායක නාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේගේ වැඩම වීමෙනි. ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ මෙවර කඨින චීවර පූජා මහෝත්සවය ඔක්තෝබර් 14 සහ 15 යන දෙ‍දින පැවැත්වෙන අතර, ඒ සඳහා ප්‍රධාන දායකත්වය ගෙන කටයුතු කරනු ලබන්නේ LOLC ආයතන සමූහයේ සභාපති ඉෂාර නානයක්කාර මැතිතුමා ඇතුළු පවුලේ පිරිස විසිනී. කඨින චීවරය මහනුවර ලේඩිබ්ලෙක් ආරාමයේ සිට ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව දක්වා පෙරහරින් රැගන ඒම හෙට (ඔක්. 15) දින අළුයම සිදු කිරීමට නියමිතව ඇත.
