ලබන අගෝස්තු මස පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත හෙළයේ මහා සංස්කෘතික පූජෝපහාරය වන කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය වෙනුවෙන් නර්ථනයෙන්, වාදනයෙන් හා විවිධ පෙරහර රාජකාරීමට කටයුතු ඉටු කරනු ලබන ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ හා සිව්මහා දේවාලයන්හී කලා ශිල්පීන් ඇතුළු සියළුම සහභාගි වන්නන් සඳහා කොවිඩ් 19 වසංගතයෙන් ආරක්ෂා වීම සඳහා එන්නත් ලබා දීම සිදු කරනු ලැබුවා. ඒ මහනුවර ජාතික රෝහල හා ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාව ඒකාබද්ධව සිදු කරන එන්නත් කරන වැඩපිළිවෙල යටතේය.
අද(30) පෙරවරුවේ සිට ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ නව බහු කාර්ය්‍ය ගොඩනැඟිලි පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවති මෙම එන්නත්කරන වැඩසටහන සඳහා සහභාගි කර වූ අය අතුරෙන්, ආදිවාසී නායක ඌරුවරිගේ වන්නිල ඇත්තන් ඇතුළු ආදීවාසි ජනයාද වීම විශේෂත්වයකී. සෑම වසරක පෙරහර මංගල්ලයේ පළමු රන්දෝලි පෙරහර දා මී පැණියෙන් දළදා සමිඳු පුදන පෞරාණික චාරිත්‍රය ඉටු කරනු ලබන්නේ අපේ ආදිවාසි ජනයා අතින්ය.
පෙරහර රාජකාරිකරුවන් උදෙසා ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ මෙම එන්නත්කරන වැඩසටහන, කොවිඩ් 19 වසංගතයෙන් ආරක්ෂා වීමේ රජයේ වැඩපිළිවෙලට සමගාමීව ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමාගේ පූර්ණ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශයේ මෙහෙය වීමෙන් සිදු කරන ලදී.
The most awaited cultural event of the nation, the Esala Perahera Festival is scheduled to be held in the month of August. As a precaution and preparation for it the vaccination program of all those who will be participating in Esala Perahera Festival was held today (30) at the New Multipurpose Building of Sri Dalada Maligawa. This was part of the vaccination program against Covid 19 initiated by Sri Dalada Maligawa and the Kandy General Hospital.
It was interesting to see that “Uruwarige Vanniyalaetto” the head of the indigenous group of Sri Lanka also being part of them. It is a tradition that this indigenous group offers Bee’s honey to the Sacred Tooth Relic, on the day of first Randoli procession.
The vaccination program for those who will be participating in perahera was in par with the national vaccination program against Covid 19. This was held under the full supervision of Pradeep Nilanga Dale, the Lay Custodian, and the guidance of the Health Ministry.
