2025 කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය ජූලි මස 25 වෙනි දා පුරාණ චාරිත්‍රානුකූලව කප් සිටුවීමෙන් පසු එළඹෙන ජූලි 30 වෙනි දා සිට අගෝස්තු 09 වෙනි දිනය දක්වා පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතයි. 2025 ජුනි 19 පස්වරුවේ ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේ පැවති විශේෂ හමුවකදී මේ බව ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේතුමන් විසින් නිල වශයෙන් ප්‍රකාශයයට පත් කරන ලදී. රජයේ ආයතන හා ආරක්ෂක අංශ නියෝජනය කරන මහත්ම මහත්මීන් මේ සඳහා සහභාගි විය.

The 2025 Kandy Esala Perahera Festival will be held from July 30 to August 9, following the traditional Kap Situweema (planting of the ‘kap’) ceremony on July 25. This was officially announced by the Hon. Diyawadana Nilame at a special meeting on 19th June 2025 afternoon at the auditorium of the Sri Dalada Maligawa. Representatives from government officers and the security forces were present at the meeting.
