ස්‍යාමෝපාලි වංශික මහා නිකායේ අස්ගිරි මහා විහාර පාර්ශ්වයේ අභිනව අනුනායක ධූරප්‍රාප්ත අස්ගිරි විහාර පාර්ශ්වයේ විංශසත්වර්ගික කාරක මහා සඟ සභාවේ හිටපු නියෝජ්‍ය ලේඛකාධිකාරී, අස්ගිරි මහාවිහාර මහ පිරිවනේ විශ්‍රාමලත් පරිවේණාධිපති, පල්ලේකැළේ නාලන්දා බෞද්ධ විද්‍යාලයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ, ශාස්ත්‍රපති, අතිගෞරවාර්හ නාරම්පනාවේ ආනන්ද නාහිමියන් වහන්සේ වෙත අනුනායක දූරය සඳහා වූ අක්ත පත්‍රය පිරිනැමීමේ රාජ්‍ය මහෝත්සවය 2025 ඔක්තෝබර් 03 වන දින පස්වරුවේ මහනුවර ඓතිහාසික මඟුල් මඩුවේ දී පැවැත්විණි. ඒ ත්‍රෛයි නිකායික ගරුතර මහා සංඝරත්නයේ වැඩමවීමෙන්, ගරු ජනාධිපති තුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙනි. මේ රාජ්‍ය උත්සවය සඳහා ශ්‍රී දළදා මාළිගාවේ වැඩබලන ගරු දියවඩන නිලමේ තුමා ප්‍රමුඛ සිව්මහා දේවාල බස්නායක නිලමේවරු, මැති ඇමතිවරු, ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාපතිවරු, පොලිස්පතිවරයා, තානාපතිවරුන්, මහ කොමසාරිස්වරුන්, රාජ්‍ය තාන්ත්‍රික නිලධාරීන්, රාජ්‍ය නිළධාරීන් ඇතුළු ගිහි පැවිදි විශාල පිරිසක් සහභාගි විය.
The State Ceremony for presenting the Aktha Pathra (Credential of Appointment) to the newly appointed Anunayake Thero of the Asgiri Maha Vihara Chapter was held on 3rd October 2025 evening at the historic Magul Maduwa in Kandy.
The Aktha Pathra was presented to Most Venerable Narampanave Ananda Thero, who has been appointed as the new Anunayake Thero of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siyamopali Maha Nikaya.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency the President, with the blessings of the Maha Sangha representing the three Nikayas.
The Acting Diyawadana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa, along with the Basnayake Nilames of the four Dewala, Ministers, Tri-Forces Commanders, the Inspector General of Police, Ambassadors, senior officials, and a large number of devotees attended the event.
