2025 කන්ද උඩරට ඇසළ පෙරහර මහා මංගල්ලය, පෙරහර මඟ ආලෝකවත් කරන්නට ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාවෙන් මෙවරත් කොප්පරා පරිත්‍යාග කරයි.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාධිපති ලුතිනන් ජෙනරල් ලසන්ත රොද්‍රිගෝ මැතිතුමා විසින් ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ දී 2025 ජූලි 17 දින අළුයම එය සංකේතාත්මකව පිළිගන්වනු ලැබුවා. ශ්‍රී දළදා මාලිගාවේ පෙරහර කොප්පරා පන්දම් වලින් ආලෝකවත් කිරීම සදහා අවශ්‍ය කිලෝ හය දහසකට වැඩි කොප්පරා ප්‍රමාණයක් ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාව විසින් ඒ අනුව පූජා කරනු ලබනවා.

Copra (dried split coconuts) to light up the 2025 Kandy Esala Perahera was donated by the Sri Lanka Army. Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo symbolically presented a tray of copra on 17th July 2025 to mark the donation. Accordingly, the Army will contribute over 6 tons of copra to illuminate the entire procession.
